“Amazon Unveils Faster, Slimmer Fire TV Stick HD”

Amazon has unveiled the latest version of its Fire TV Stick HD with an updated price, providing an ideal opportunity to explore a new streaming device. The revamped model boasts a sleeker design, support for Wi-Fi 6 for enhanced streaming quality, and improved performance.

The new Fire TV Stick HD is over 30% faster than its predecessors, offering faster boot-up times and enhanced application performance, according to Amazon.

A key feature of this device is its ability to draw power directly from the TV’s USB port, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter and ensuring a tidy cable setup behind the TV screen.

Additionally, the device introduces Amazon’s latest Fire OS software, Vega, promising a more intuitive layout, intelligent content suggestions, and a smoother browsing experience.

Amazon described the new Fire TV Stick HD as its slimmest streaming device to date, compact in size and designed for direct power via the TV’s USB port, reducing the need for an external power source.

Originally priced at £39.99, the new Fire TV Stick HD is now available at a discounted price of £25.99 on Amazon, marking a 35% price drop.

While the deal on Amazon is enticing, bargain hunters can find even lower prices elsewhere. Both Argos and Currys are offering the 2024 Fire TV Stick HD for £24.99, undercutting Amazon by £1 and providing a £15 discount off the original launch price.

The older model of the Fire TV Stick HD still includes access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+, along with Full HD playback, Alexa voice controls, shortcut buttons for quick app access, and smart home control for compatible devices such as lights.
