“Sky Customers Experiencing Frustrating ITVX App Glitch”

Some Sky customers are facing a frustrating technical issue with the popular ITVX app. The problem started recently, causing interruptions during viewing where programs skip to the end unexpectedly. Users have reported instances where they are abruptly taken to the credits without using the fast-forward feature on their remotes.

On Sky’s forum page, a user named Dazzasky complained about the ITV Player skipping ahead to the end of episodes, making viewing difficult for the past few days. Another user named Dawn also shared experiencing similar issues with programs randomly jumping to the end, often occurring at the start or after ad breaks.

The glitch seems to be affecting users with Sky’s online devices such as Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it is uncertain if Sky Q is impacted, most complaints are from users with broadband-connected devices rather than satellite dishes.

Sky employee Kev has acknowledged the problem and assured users that the company is actively working on a solution. Kev expressed understanding of the frustration caused by the issue and mentioned that they are collaborating with ITV to address the problem promptly.

While the cause of the problem remains unknown, users may have to endure the skipping problems temporarily until a resolution is implemented. Mirror Online will provide updates on the situation as more information becomes available.
