An adventurer captured a chilling photograph of an unidentified flying object hovering above the secretive Area 51 military installation in Nevada. On January 14, while documenting his desert expedition, Anders Otteson observed an unconventional aircraft resembling an equilateral triangle, often referred to as the ‘Dorito’ by UFO enthusiasts. Notably, Otteson had previously witnessed a B-2 Spirit aircraft flying over the area, distinct from the ‘Dorito’ shape.
Running the YouTube channel Uncanny Expeditions, Otteson described the peculiar object as lacking traditional wings or flat tailing edges, prompting speculation on its nature. The sighting coincided with the interception of coded messages on open radio frequencies near Area 51, with phrases such as “imperial with garlic” and “pretzel snack” being exchanged, potentially linked to snack-themed military jargon.
Despite the enigmatic nature of the encounter, Otteson suggested the ‘Dorito’ craft could have been a classified bomber plane, downplaying the significance of the unusual phrases heard. This event marked Otteson’s third observation of a triangle-shaped UFO, having previously encountered similar phenomena in Kansas and Texas.
Area 51, renowned for its clandestine operations and abundance of conspiracy theories, has attracted speculation about extraterrestrial activities over the years, contrasting with the government’s assertion that it serves as a flight testing facility.
