“EE Slashes Smart TV Prices, Offers Free Home Nations Match Tickets”

With the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in sight, EE is slashing prices on smart TVs by hundreds of pounds, allowing soccer enthusiasts to enhance their viewing experience before the tournament kicks off. In preparation for the event starting on June 11, the telecommunications company is giving football fans the opportunity to win tickets to a Home Nations match.

Customers who buy any television from the EE website before the World Cup concludes on July 19 will automatically be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to a Home Nations football match in the United Kingdom. Winners can select from 10 pairs of tickets for a game of their choice, whether they support England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.

It is important to note that these tickets are not for matches in this year’s World Cup but for fixtures scheduled between September and December. In addition to the chance to secure complimentary match tickets, shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to £500 on TVs from renowned brands like Samsung, Sony, LG, and Hisense.

The most significant savings are on premium models such as the Samsung QN93F QLED Mini LED 4K Ultra HD Smart AI TV priced at £1,999 (previously £2,499). This model offers exceptional 4K image quality, a massive 75-inch screen, and customers can claim up to 20% Cashback from Samsung.

Among the more budget-friendly options is the Hisense A7QTUK QLED AI Smart TV starting at £309, which delivers lifelike visuals with QLED Color technology. This TV also utilizes an AI 4K Upscaler to enhance the image quality of older films and TV shows to modern 4K standards.

In the Summer of Sport promotion by EE, football fans can win free tickets to an England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland match between September and December 2026. To participate, customers simply need to purchase any smart TV from the EE website by July 19, many of which are discounted by up to £500.

Moreover, the sale includes Samsung’s Crystal UHD U8020F 4K Smart TV starting from £229, providing enhanced 4K visuals and vibrant audio with the brand’s Crystal Processor. This TV ensures optimal image quality in 4K UHD resolution, offering four times the detail of Full HD, making it perfect for sports viewing with Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator technology for smooth and clear picture quality during fast-paced action.

Another TV eligible for the Home Nations tickets contest is the 55-inch Toshiba UV2F LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV priced at £249. This device promises stunning detail with 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Vision, crisp multidimensional sound powered by Dolby Atmos, and a 20W speaker output.

The EE promotion coincides with a competing offer at Sky, where both Glass smart TVs are currently discounted by 20%. The entry-level Sky Glass Air model is now £4.50 per month (previously £6), while the premium Sky Glass Gen 2 is priced at £11 (was £14).

Meanwhile, Amazon has rebranded the Fire TV range as Amazon Ember, introducing a new model called Ember Artline that mimics framed artwork and is currently discounted by up to £270.

For those mulling over which TV to choose in EE’s Home Nations tickets competition, the Hisense A7QTUK model has garnered positive feedback on the brand’s website, holding a 4.7-star rating from nearly 300 reviews. Customers praise its outstanding picture quality, clear sound, and easy setup process.

While opinions may vary, a majority of reviewers express satisfaction with the TV’s performance, highlighting its exceptional picture quality and sound output. The Hisense A7QTUK TV is seen as a top choice for those seeking high-quality visuals and immersive sound for an enhanced viewing experience.
