Sky TV customers who enjoy watching movies will notice a change in their channel lineup starting April 30. Sky has merged Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, with Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This change aims to simplify the viewing experience by consolidating family-friendly films into one channel.
Despite the merger, viewers will not lose any content; all favorite movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will still be available on Sky Cinema Family. Sky assures customers that the content previously on Sky Cinema Animation will remain accessible on the new channel.
For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make a return during school holidays from July to August, October to November, and December to January. This temporary availability during school breaks will keep kids entertained when they are not in school.
