Ross faces one felony charge of battery by strangulation and a misdemeanor battery charge. He was later released on bond after surrendering himself to the police station. In response to the allegations, Ross took to Instagram to assert his innocence, denouncing the claims as “fabricated.” His legal representatives have stated that he has pleaded not guilty to the charges and are urging the public to allow the legal process to unfold without bias.
Having gained fame as a Miami-based rapper in the 2000s, Ross made waves with his hit single “Hustlin'” in 2006 and later went on to establish his own record label, Maybach Music Group, signing prominent artists like Meek Mill and French Montana. An arraignment for this case is scheduled for October 22.
