Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty was spotted arriving at his wedding ceremony with his bride, Holly Ramsay, while holding hands with his young son, George. The adorable boy looked charming in his miniature tuxedo and bow tie as he got ready to walk down the aisle.
Accompanied by the groomsmen, including Adam, 30, the group made a stylish entrance into Bath Abbey. Adam shares custody of George with his former partner, Eiri Munro, with whom he was in a relationship when he met Holly.
The couple’s story began on the set of Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, where Adam and Holly’s sister, Tilly Ramsay, were both contestants. Following Adam’s split with Eiri in August 2022, his bond with Holly blossomed gradually.
Their relationship became public in June 2023, with the couple frequently sharing glimpses of their life together online. The romance evolved, leading to Adam proposing to Holly during a romantic getaway to Cornwall in September the same year.
As Adam accompanied his son to the wedding, Holly was escorted by her famous chef father, Gordon Ramsay. Adam has formed a strong relationship with his father-in-law, while his own parents were notably absent from the wedding due to a strained relationship with their son.
In an interview with The Sunday Times in April 2024, Adam spoke highly of Gordon, crediting the chef for helping him cultivate a winning mentality outside of the swimming world, especially during challenging times with alcohol and depression.
Before proposing to Holly in September 2024, Adam followed tradition by seeking blessings from Gordon and Holly’s parents. Recalling the touching moment, Adam described the emotional exchange that took place during a private moment in Cornwall.
While Adam’s father was absent from his recent stag do in Budapest, Gordon played a significant role in the celebration. The presence of the renowned chef at the stag event may have caused further distress to Adam’s mother, Caroline Peaty, who was not invited to Holly’s glamorous hen do at Soho Farmhouse.
