Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers set to take place in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada has confirmed that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the competition, is scheduled to face off against sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at Videotron Centre. The victor of this matchup will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a score of 3-2. On the other hand, France secured their spot in the second round by triumphing over Slovakia with a 3-1 victory.
