The number of illegal Somali migrants in Minnesota is estimated to be less than 1,000.
Despite the Trump administration’s deployment of around 3,000 ICE agents to Minnesota, the ratio of agents to potential deportees remains notably high. Trump boasted about crime reduction in other areas due to ICE interventions and accused Minnesota Democrats of benefiting from civil unrest.
