This season marks the first time the league champion will be determined by a series rather than a single game. The championship series will kick off with Game 1 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET, with Brampton hosting as the lower seed before heading to Winnipeg for Games 2 and 3 if necessary.
Moon’s impressive performance, scoring 24 points, propelled the Sea Bears to their first-ever final, alongside Simon Hildebrandt’s 24 points and Isiah Osborne’s game-winning three-point shot. Moon, returning to the CEBL after five years, showcased his prowess in the absence of injured star Teddy Allen.
In the Eastern conference final, Brampton’s Tyrese Hunter and Sean East II shined, with Hunter sinking a game-winning three-pointer. The Honey Badgers are aiming to join the ranks of the Niagara River Lions and the Edmonton Stingers as the only teams to secure two CEBL championships.
