Months after being removed from the Celebrity Big Brother House, a former contestant is now facing potential eviction from their rented residence, as per recent reports.
Mickey Rourke is allegedly at risk of eviction after falling nearly £44,000 behind in rent for his Los Angeles property. The 73-year-old actor, known for his roles in movies like Sin City and Iron Man 2, has been leasing a three-bedroom Spanish-style bungalow near West Hollywood since April 2025.
Reports indicate that the actor, who received accolades for his performance in The Wrestler, has been accused of failing to meet rent obligations, leading to the issuance of an eviction notice requiring him to settle the outstanding rent within three days or vacate the premises.
The notice was purportedly affixed outside the property before Christmas, on December 18, and remains unresolved, potentially leading to legal proceedings initiated by the landlord, identified as Eric Goldie.
This situation follows Mickey’s expulsion from the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother earlier in the year due to inappropriate language and unacceptable behavior. The incidents included making derogatory comments towards fellow contestants, resulting in numerous complaints.
Following his controversial stint on the reality show, Mickey faced financial setbacks as his rumored appearance fee was reportedly reduced. Despite issuing an apology for his behavior, the actor has maintained a low profile since the incidents.
In August, pictures surfaced showing Mickey with grey hair, looking unrecognizable while receiving a food delivery at his Beverly Hills residence. Reports indicated a neglected exterior with an overgrown garden at his home.
