A new dog-friendly festival fundraiser called Pawchella will be held at Kamview Nordic Centre on Saturday, raising funds for appendix cancer care and research through the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation’s Northern Cancer Fund. The event, created in memory of Hannah Deley, will offer various activities such as local vendors, agility demonstrations, dog walks, and more.
The Festival of India and the Festival of Colours, postponed earlier, will take place at Marina Park on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The festivals will feature cultural performances, yoga activities, henna art, vendor booths, and family entertainment.
