Expressing his morbid interest in serial killers, Keyes mentioned to investigators his extensive knowledge of notorious criminals and their deeds, distancing himself from those who showed remorse for their actions, like Dennis Rader.
Unlike typical serial killers with identifiable patterns or victim preferences, Keyes roamed across the U.S., strategically placing “Kill kits” in various locations for later use in his atrocious acts.
