Trump has previously been witnessed covering hand bruises with light-colored concealer or sporting bandages. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt linked a dark purple bruise on Trump’s hand to his frequent handshakes, stating that the bustling nature of the Oval Office contributes to his continuous interactions. She also mentioned Trump’s daily aspirin routine as a factor that could lead to visible bruising.
In response to claims of his declining health, Trump mentioned taking another Cognitive Examination and achieving success in it. He expressed frustration towards media outlets, particularly The New York Times, for allegedly spreading false information about his health status and work ethic.
Leavitt disclosed the results of Trump’s recent MRI on December 1, where White House doctor Captain Sean Barbabella reported normal imaging of Trump’s heart and abdomen, indicating no issues with blood flow or major organ abnormalities. The doctor affirmed that Trump’s cardiovascular system is in excellent condition, with all major organs appearing healthy.
