“Fatal Overnight Crashes Claim Three Lives in Quebec”

Three individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Quebec overnight. The first incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. when a vehicle veered off Route 132 East near Chemin Mistral in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse. The driver, a 35-year-old man who was alone in the vehicle, seemed to have lost control of the car for unknown reasons and was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the accident, the road was temporarily closed but reopened by 4:45 a.m.

Later, at approximately 3:20 a.m., emergency services responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 138 near Franquelin. Four individuals were in the vehicle when the driver apparently lost control, resulting in one fatality while the other three occupants sustained critical injuries. As a result, two out of three lanes in the vicinity were closed on Sunday morning.

Around 6 a.m., authorities received a report of a third car accident on Route 138 in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The driver of the vehicle, for reasons that remain unclear, veered out of their lane while traveling eastbound, leading to the car rolling several times. Two occupants, a man and a woman in their 30s, were taken to the hospital with severe injuries. Tragically, the 37-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, while the man remains in critical condition according to the SQ.
