Actor Dylan Walsh, known for his role in “Heated Rivalry,” hinted at the possibility of filming twelve new episodes for the popular hockey romance series, sparking excitement among fans for potential future seasons. The 62-year-old American actor shared this information in a video on the Cameo platform, which was later reposted by a TikTok user.
While portraying the character of Shane Hollander’s father on the show, Walsh expressed his admiration for being part of “Heated Rivalry” and hinted at returning to Canada to film more episodes, suggesting a total of twelve episodes for the upcoming production.
However, Walsh received backlash for his comments and subsequently issued an apology, clarifying that he spoke without official confirmation and expressing regret for any confusion caused. As a result, he temporarily paused his Cameo account.
The show’s representative has not responded to inquiries regarding Walsh’s remarks. Apart from his role in “Heated Rivalry,” Walsh has appeared in various TV series and films like “Nip/Tuck” and “Congo.”
Following Walsh’s revelation, speculation arose among fans about potential upcoming seasons of the series, with some suggesting the filming of both the second and a yet-to-be-announced third season. The first season of “Heated Rivalry” consisted of six episodes, and the creator had previously mentioned a preference for concise seasons.
