“Donald Trump Shares Image of Captured Nicolas Maduro on Truth Social”

Donald Trump has posted a striking new image on Truth Social depicting Nicolas Maduro aboard the USS Iwo Jima while restrained in handcuffs.

The image portrays what seems to be Maduro wearing an eye mask and headphones, dressed in a grey tracksuit. Trump shared the image shortly after confirming a US attack on Venezuela that resulted in the capture of Nicolas Maduro and his spouse. The attack involved at least seven explosions heard in Caracas as low-flying planes passed over the city.

Maduro was reportedly extracted from his residence by Delta Force after he refused a final opportunity given by Trump to surrender peacefully.

The Venezuelan President and his wife are facing charges in the US, including Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy. Additionally, the indictment lists four other criminal charges: conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess such weapons.

Meanwhile, Trump declared that the US will assume control of Venezuela “until a safe, orderly, and careful transition can occur.” The President expressed his intention to “revitalize Venezuela.”

He stated, “We cannot risk allowing someone unsympathetic to the Venezuelan people to take power. We are present now and will remain until a suitable transition is achievable. Essentially, we will manage it…”

Trump has not dismissed the possibility of deploying “US troops” to establish authority in the nation.
