Dell has reversed its decision from a year ago and brought back the iconic XPS brand to its PC lineup. The revival of the XPS laptops under Windows 11 showcases a complete redesign, featuring premium materials like aluminium and Gorilla Glass 3 for durability and sophistication.
The new XPS laptops boast a fresh design with the XPS logo prominently displayed on the lid. Dell has enhanced the keyboards for better stability and reduced accidental key presses, along with introducing a seamless glass touchpad integrated into the palm rest. These redesigns not only enhance the aesthetics but also improve portability by reducing weight and thickness.
The latest XPS 14 and XPS 16 are now Dell’s thinnest laptops yet, measuring just 14.6mm, thanks in part to a reengineered 4K webcam. Performance has been significantly upgraded with Intel’s latest Ultra processors, ensuring faster speeds, improved graphics, and enhanced efficiency. The laptops feature a redesigned thermal system for reliable temperature control, even during heavy workloads.
Intel Arc graphics with 12 cores offer a 50% performance boost over the previous generation. The XPS laptops also excel in battery life, providing up to 27 hours of use on a single charge with high-density 900ED cells, supporting the vivid displays throughout the day.
Key features include edge-to-edge touch displays, immersive Dolby Atmos speakers, and a variety of ports for accessory connectivity. Dell unveiled the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 at CES 2026, emphasizing their commitment to delivering premium laptops with striking design, powerful performance, stunning displays, and long-lasting battery life in a compact, portable package.
