Escaped Prisoner Captured by Authorities

A prisoner who fled from Milner Ridge Correctional Centre on Wednesday evening has been captured and is now back in custody, according to authorities. The RCMP received a report that Justin Paul had escaped from the provincial penitentiary located in the rural area of Lac du Bonnet, northeast of Winnipeg, at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, as stated in a press release issued by the police on Thursday morning. Paul was apprehended near the intersection of Highway 11 and Minnewawa Street W. in Lac du Bonnet at approximately 11 a.m. on Thursday, as per an update provided by law enforcement.
