“Inbetweeners Star Emily Head Mourns Mother’s Sudden Passing”

Emily Head, known for her role in Inbetweeners, has paid heartfelt tributes to her mother, Sarah Fisher, who recently passed away. Sarah, a passionate advocate for animal welfare, died at the age of 61 unexpectedly, as revealed by Emily and her sister Daisy in a statement. Described as a compassionate individual, Sarah was the owner of Tilley Farm in Somerset.

In a statement jointly issued with Daisy, Emily, 37, who portrayed Carli D’Amato in The Inbetweeners, expressed their profound sorrow over the loss of their exceptional, kind, and talented mother, Sarah. The suddenness of her passing has left them deeply shocked. They highlighted Sarah’s significant impact on numerous lives and the pride they feel for the legacy she leaves behind.

Daisy, 34, also an actress known for her roles in various productions since 2002, including Guilt and The Syndicate, shared similar sentiments. She will appear in the upcoming period drama The Gray House, set for release in February on Prime Video.

Expressing regret that Sarah did not have more time to impart her wisdom, the tribute described her as possessing a unique and irreplaceable spirit that touched many lives. The family acknowledged the profound grief they are experiencing and thanked all who were part of Sarah’s enriched life.

Sarah, originally from Epsom, Surrey, married actor Anthony Head in 1982 and had Daisy and Emily with him. A supporter of animal welfare causes, she served as an ambassador for Battersea Dogs And Cats Home and a patron of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.

Peter Laurie, CEO of Battersea, expressed condolences on Sarah’s passing, recognizing her longstanding commitment to the charity’s cause. Sarah and Anthony Head were valued contributors, dedicating time to fostering dogs, training staff, and participating in fundraising events. Her absence will be deeply felt by all at Battersea.

Anthony Head, known for his roles in Ted Lasso and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has not publicly commented on his grief following Sarah’s death. He supported her advocacy work, notably for Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary in Bristol.

Pauline Leeson, founder of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, honored Sarah’s memory and described her as a genuine, caring, and compassionate advocate for animals. She praised Sarah’s tireless efforts to improve animals’ lives and expressed gratitude for her impactful contributions.
