“Virgin Media Flash Sale: Free Smart TVs with TV & Broadband Packages!”

Virgin Media is currently running a 10-day flash sale that includes a promotion offering free smart TVs. The deal, which started on May 18, allows customers to receive a complimentary £250 LG Smart TV when they sign up for one of Virgin’s four TV and broadband packages. These packages come with a variety of benefits, such as hundreds of channels, free Netflix, and the option to add Sky Sports and Cinema coverage. Customers can choose between different packages, including Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt.

Upon availing of the offer, customers have the choice of receiving a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or a £125 bill credit, which equates to several weeks of free service. However, customers must claim the deal by 11.59 pm on May 27.

Virgin Media’s TV packages offer over 200 channels and a free Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle, priced at £44.99, also provides full access to Sky Cinema and 362Mbps fibre broadband. For sports enthusiasts, the Sport bundle at £54.99 offers comprehensive Sky Sports coverage. Customers can even combine both packages with the Sport + Cinema bundle or opt for the ultimate Max Volt bundle, which includes more than 230 channels, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

Additionally, Virgin Media has introduced the One Touch Switch scheme, simplifying the process for new customers to switch providers without having to contact their current service provider directly. It’s important to note that Virgin’s monthly prices increase by £4 each April, so customers should consider this before committing to a 24-month contract.

In comparison, Sky is offering reduced prices on its Glass smart TVs ahead of the World Cup, with prices starting as low as £4.50 per month. Amazon has also unveiled its updated Fire TV range, including the new Ember Artline model, designed to compete with Samsung’s The Frame TV.

Reviews from customers who have signed up for Virgin Media’s TV and broadband packages have been overwhelmingly positive, praising the fast broadband speeds and overall value of the services. Customers have highlighted the seamless installation process, user-friendly controls, and extensive channel options. While some customers faced minor registration issues, the majority expressed satisfaction with their decision to switch to Virgin Media.
