Wetherspoon has kicked off its January Sale today at 600 of its pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. The discounted drinks lineup includes Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine for £2.99 per 250ml glass, Johnnie Walker Black Label (25ml with mixer) for £1.99, and Tanqueray gin (25ml with mixer) also at £1.99.
Moreover, the sale features a wide range of low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks, such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois Alcohol Free, Erdinger Isotonic, Thatchers zero, Koppaberg Alcohol Free, and Gordons 0.0 pink gin, each priced at £1.69. Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa will be available for 99p each.
In addition to beverages, there are discounts on Wetherspoon food items. Patrons can opt for an 11-inch Margherita pizza or a chicken burger with chips for £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.
For those craving jacket potatoes, customers can choose six varieties for £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink. Additional fillings or a side salad can be added for 99p. Also, introducing new gourmet jacket potatoes priced at £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic drink.
Among the gourmet options are the loaded spud topped with cheese, maple-cured bacon, garlic butter, and sour cream, the Mexican spud filled with chilli bean non-carne, cheese, guacamole, and more, and the smoky potato loaded with pulled BBQ beef brisket, cheese, chipotle mayo, and chillies.
Wetherspoon founder and chairman, Tim Martin, expressed enthusiasm for the January Sale, emphasizing the broad range of drinks and food offerings tailored to various tastes, including a significant selection of low and non-alcoholic beverages. The sale will be available at 600 pubs from January 2, and from January 3 in Scotland, until January 15. Note that prices may vary at Wetherspoon’s other 200 venues.
