Smart Support automatically monitors broadband performance and promptly assists customers facing speed or connectivity issues. It provides instant recommendations to troubleshoot problems, minimizing disruptions that could impact online activities like streaming or remote work. Additionally, the service can remotely conduct repairs and updates during off-peak hours to prevent daytime disturbances.
In cases where additional equipment like WiFi Pods or Hub upgrades are necessary for better coverage, Virgin Media will proactively offer these solutions. Customers can also request a free engineer visit if issues persist. Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the importance of reliable connectivity and the network’s commitment to keeping customers connected seamlessly.
Virgin Media has confirmed that all customers will receive Smart Support as a standard offering, enhancing their online experience without any extra charges.
