“UK Sky Subscribers Get HBO Max FREE in Ultimate TV Package”

Sky customers in the UK are in for a treat as the new HBO Max service is now available for free to certain subscribers. Sky has integrated HBO Max into its Ultimate TV package, allowing users to enjoy popular titles like Game of Thrones, Friends, Dune, Succession, and more without the usual £4.99 monthly fee, saving them over £50.

The extensive HBO Max library includes a variety of HBO dramas, classic shows like The Wire, and exclusive Max Originals such as The Pitt. Additionally, subscribers can access a wide selection of Warner Bros. films through the service.

To start streaming HBO Max, customers with Sky Ultimate TV on Sky Glass or Sky Stream, or Sky Signature/Sky Entertainment on Sky Q, simply need to launch the HBO Max app from the homepage and follow the on-screen instructions. Once set up, they can enjoy on-demand viewing of all available content.

For those not currently on the Sky Ultimate TV plan, they can switch to it starting at £22 per month (rising to £24 from April 1st). This package includes over 130 Sky channels, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and the upcoming Hayu service.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed excitement about the integration, stating, “This marks a new era for Sky and NOW, bringing Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu together in a single subscription, offering an unparalleled entertainment experience.”

Furthermore, NOW Entertainment customers will also have access to HBO Max at no extra cost within the NOW app. Non-Sky subscribers can opt to sign up for HBO Max directly on its website, with Standard with Ads plans starting at £5.99.
