“UK Holiday Park Operator Cove UK Enters Administration”

Cove UK, the overarching company of several holiday parks in the UK, has gone into administration. This affects a total of 11 sites, with eight being managed by Argyll Holidays, which was acquired by Cove UK for £100 million in 2022. The other impacted holiday parks are Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, and Springwood Holiday Park. Administrators are currently evaluating potential sale options for the business and have sent notifications to owners regarding the situation.

If you have a reservation at any of the resorts, it is advised to reach out to the site manager. The resorts involved in this situation are listed as follows:

Seal Bay Resort in West Sussex remains unaffected and is operating normally. Alvarez & Marsal Europe has been appointed to oversee the administration process for Cove Communities Holiday Park UK Holdco Limited (HPUK), along with its subsidiary companies.

The administrators emphasized their commitment to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining stability across the parks. They are striving to minimize disruptions and ensure that owners, residents, and vacationers are not adversely affected. Any inquiries can be directed to the site managers.

A spokesperson for Cove UK confirmed the appointment of administrators for Cove Communities Holiday Park HoldCo Limited and its subsidiaries, impacting multiple holiday parks in the UK. Seal Bay, the largest resort under the Cove UK umbrella, is not subject to the administration process and is operating normally for guests and owners. The company’s primary focus remains on customer service and executing its long-term strategy, while acknowledging the support of its employees, owners, and customers.
