“Samsung Introduces Galaxy S26 Ultra with Privacy Display”

Samsung has recently unveiled a trio of new Galaxy S26 smartphones, with one of them showcasing a standout feature that sets it apart from the iPhone. The S26 Ultra now boasts a Privacy Display feature, preventing unauthorized viewers from accessing the screen’s content.

This innovative feature, once activated in the settings, ensures that content disappears when not directly viewed, enhancing privacy in public settings like trains. Users can customize the Privacy Display to block specific apps or notifications, providing added security.

Samsung described the Galaxy S26 Ultra as the first in the mobile industry to introduce a built-in Privacy Display, utilizing advanced display technology to safeguard user privacy while maintaining screen clarity for the user.

In addition to the Privacy Display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a sleeker design, extended battery life, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform from Qualcomm, enabling rapid charging up to 75% in just 30 minutes.

The smartphone also boasts an enhanced quad rear camera for improved low-light photography and upgraded Super Steady capabilities for smoother video recording. The device includes an S Pen for note-taking on its 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.

Accompanying the Ultra model are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch display and the larger 6.7-inch Plus version, powered by Samsung’s Exynos chip and equipped with triple-lens rear cameras.

All the new Samsung smartphones benefit from smart features enhanced by a Galaxy AI upgrade, offering functionalities like Now Nudge for personalized suggestions to keep users focused and productive.

Samsung promises a more intuitive user experience with features such as automatic photo suggestions from the Gallery based on contextual cues and seamless integration with Google for enhanced web searches.

While these updates enhance the user experience, they come at a higher cost this year. The UK pricing for the new Samsung Galaxy S26 range is as follows:

– S26: 256GB £879, 512GB £1,049
– S26 Plus: 256GB £1,099, 512GB £1,269
– S26 Ultra: 256GB £1,279, 512GB £1,449, 1TB (with 16GB RAM) £1,699

The new models are set to hit stores next month, offering consumers a range of advanced features and capabilities for an enhanced mobile experience.
