“Former Made In Chelsea Star Louise Thompson Hospitalized on Christmas Eve”

Former Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson had to spend Christmas Eve in the hospital due to an ongoing health issue and commended the NHS for providing her with an “urgent” appointment.

Taking to Instagram, Louise shared a photo of herself in a hospital gown and explained that she underwent a proctoscopy, a less invasive procedure compared to a colonoscopy given her medical condition. Despite feeling slightly uncomfortable, she praised the effects of fentanyl during the process.

Expressing the importance of such appointments, Louise mentioned that she was grateful for being accommodated promptly by the NHS, even on Christmas Eve. She emphasized her appreciation for the healthcare system’s continuous dedication to handling emergencies without rest.

The following day, Louise expressed her gratitude to the medical staff who assisted her during her hospital visit. She acknowledged the NHS’s unwavering service, especially during holidays, and thanked the healthcare professionals for their commitment to saving lives.

Louise has faced various health challenges over the years, including a life-threatening childbirth experience in 2021, leading to significant blood loss during an emergency C-section. Subsequently, she grappled with PTSD, post-natal anxiety, and post-partum depression. Her fiancé, Ryan Libbey, revealed the extent of the mental health support they sought, including a crisis management team monitoring Louise closely.

In addition to her previous health struggles, Louise has been diagnosed with Lupus, Asherman’s Syndrome, and experienced a haemorrhage, eventually necessitating a stoma bag. Despite these adversities, she has emerged as a vocal advocate for women’s health, sharing her story openly to support others in similar situations.
