British authorities are set to request more details from the FBI following the release of new documents linking Jeffrey Epstein to alleged abuse events in the UK. The disclosed files, part of over 11,000 documents unveiled by the US Department of Justice, contain unverified accusations involving Prince Andrew and Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Among the claims is a statement from a 35-year-old individual asserting childhood abuse in England during the mid-1990s. According to a redacted FBI report, the person alleges being taken to a Surrey abuse ring at a young age and later to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate, which is now known as the home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The individual further alleges being subjected to electric shocks by Maxwell at the property, with Prince Andrew and other men reportedly present. Additional accusations include molestation at Epstein’s Florida residence and an incident involving a dark blue vehicle. Surrey Police has no record of these allegations being previously reported.
In response, Surrey Police is working to access the redacted information and collaborating with relevant agencies, including the FBI. Authorities emphasize their commitment to investigating all reports of child abuse and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
US lawmakers anticipate the release of up to a million more documents related to Epstein, raising concerns about potential implications for prominent individuals. Prince Andrew, who has consistently denied any wrongdoing, faced repercussions including losing public roles following a settlement with Virginia Giuffre over sexual abuse allegations.
Recently, King Charles removed Prince Andrew’s remaining titles, highlighting ongoing scrutiny and legal challenges surrounding his association with Epstein and Maxwell. The revelations underscore the broader connections Epstein had in the UK, with his notorious “black book” containing names of various high-profile figures.
Maxwell, now serving a 20-year sentence in the US for sex trafficking crimes, played a significant role in Epstein’s operations within British society. The renewed interest in Epstein’s network and its ties to Britain continues to fuel discussions and demands for accountability.
