Among the evening’s highlights were Noah Wyle winning the lead actor in a drama category for “The Pitt,” Rhea Seehorn as the lead actress in a drama for “Pluribus,” and Jean Smart clinching her fifth consecutive win as lead actress in a comedy for “Hacks.” Matthew Rhys had a remarkable night, also securing the lead actor award in a limited series or movie for “The Beast in Me.”
The ceremony featured a tribute to the late Dolly Parton led by Reba McEntire, a performance of “Appalachian Memories,” and an emotional rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Noah Kahan. The reunion of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz marked the show’s 30th anniversary, while Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd, and Jaclyn Smith celebrated 50 years of “Charlie’s Angels.”
