He suggested that without his interventions, Russia might have already annexed Ukraine and boasted about ending multiple conflicts unilaterally. Additionally, he criticized Norway, a NATO member, for not recognizing his efforts with the Nobel Peace Prize.
The former president contended that Russia and China do not perceive NATO as a formidable entity, asserting that a reinvigorated US under his leadership is the only force they truly respect and fear. Furthermore, the White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, stated that US control of Greenland would serve as a deterrent to China and Russia in the Arctic region. The US military successfully intercepted two oil tankers linked to Venezuela, including the M/T Sophia seized in the Caribbean Sea and a Russian-flagged vessel, the Marinera, captured in the North Atlantic for violating sanctions.
