“Tyson Fury Targets Joshua in Boxing Comeback Plan”

Tyson Fury has unveiled the three opponents he aims to face upon his boxing comeback, with Anthony Joshua being a prime target. The ‘Gypsy King’ previously announced his retirement but has since made a U-turn, intensifying his training regimen in Thailand for a significant return to the ring.

At 37, Fury has been training alongside WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena and has expressed interest in potential matchups with Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, and Fabio Wardley. A recent Instagram post by Fury showcased him visually confronting these three heavyweight rivals.

Regarding a potential fight with Wardley, Fury hinted at a future match post his hiatus, acknowledging the British boxer’s impressive victory over Joseph Parker. However, a trilogy fight with Usyk seems unlikely as Usyk’s advisor has suggested their rivalry is concluded.

While fans eagerly anticipate a showdown between Fury and Joshua, uncertainties loom over Joshua’s future following a tragic car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two friends. Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, mentioned that the highly-anticipated bout might not materialize until late 2026, considering the circumstances surrounding Joshua’s ordeal.

In light of the recent events, Warren emphasized the emotional toll on Joshua and the uncertainty surrounding his recovery, indicating that boxing may not be a priority for the heavyweight at this time.
