Brazilian Mystic Warns of 2026 Perils, Solar Storm Threat

A self-proclaimed mystic known as the “Living Nostradamus” has revealed his fresh forecasts for 2026, expressing concerns about the upcoming year. Athos Salomé, hailing from Brazil, has gained fame for his uncanny prophecies, accurately predicting events like the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the Covid pandemic.

Salomé, who regularly shares his yearly predictions before the New Year, has raised alarm for the year ahead with unsettling prophecies ranging from severe weather occurrences to escalating global conflicts. Recent months of 2025 have heightened fears of WW3 as Russia continues to issue direct threats to Europe, leading the mystic to anticipate further escalations in conflict in 2026.

There are growing worries that the UK could be facing its most significant military threat in generations, with concerns of potential warfare on a scale reminiscent of past generations. The Western military alliance’s chief, Mark Rutte, cautioned about Russia’s covert operations against Western societies.

Chatham House has highlighted Russian activities in the Arctic as a growing security challenge for Europe, with Salomé indicating potential direct confrontations with NATO in 2026. The mystic also suggested that Russia might mobilize around 800,000 reservists by March 2026 to bolster cybersecurity and air defense measures.

Against the backdrop of tensions surrounding the conflict in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky has ruled out ceding Ukrainian territory to Russia. However, a peace proposal involving Washington and Moscow indicates potential territorial concessions to Russian President Vladimir Putin, with restrictions on the Ukrainian military.

Salomé’s primary concern for 2026 revolves around the looming threat of powerful solar storms, capable of causing widespread disruptions and power failures. He emphasized the urgent need to heed his warnings, citing concrete evidence pointing to potential disruptions in communication and technology due to solar activity.

NASA defines a solar storm as a release of particles and magnetic fields from the Sun into the solar system, which can disrupt Earth’s magnetic field, leading to energy blackouts. While supported by some scientists, Salomé’s predictions highlight the risks posed by solar activity, stressing the need for preparedness and vigilance to mitigate potential impacts.

Historically, significant solar events like the Carrington Event of 1859 have caused notable disruptions, underscoring the potential risks associated with solar storms.
