“Medical Emergencies Disrupt UK-Bound Flights”

A Jet2 flight carrying British tourists was granted priority landing following a medical emergency on board. The incident took place during the flight from London Stansted airport to Tenerife South. Spanish air traffic controllers were informed by the Airbus A321’s crew of a passenger experiencing serious medical issues, necessitating priority landing. The flight’s arrival route was altered to expedite the landing process, with medical assistance being coordinated at the airport. No specific details regarding the passenger’s age, nationality, or the nature of the medical problem were disclosed.

This occurrence comes shortly after reports emerged that an elderly British woman was transported onto an easyJet flight from Malaga to Gatwick in a wheelchair, allegedly deceased. The flight was delayed for 12 hours as a result. Despite claims by passengers, including Tracy-Ann Kitching, that the woman was already dead upon boarding, easyJet rebutted, asserting that the passenger possessed a fit-to-fly certificate and was alive when she embarked.

According to a spokesperson for the Civil Guard in Malaga, emergency responders were called to the aircraft at Malaga Airport after the elderly British woman experienced cardiac arrest. Tragically, she was declared deceased on the plane, which was scheduled to depart for London.
