“The Holiday Child Star Reveals Motherhood and Challenges”

Countless fans are currently enjoying the popular Christmas movie, The Holiday. Surprisingly, it has been nearly two decades since this beloved film graced our screens. This means that all the young actors from the movie have now grown up, including Miffy Englefield, who played Sophie, one of Jude Law’s daughters, in the romantic comedy.

In a recent online revelation, Miffy shared that she is now a mother, having welcomed her daughter, Frankie, into the world on April 23, 2020. Despite this joyous occasion, she expressed discomfort with older men commenting on her appearance, calling her “cute.”

Miffy was just six years old when she landed the role of Sophie in The Holiday, where she starred alongside Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black, and Emma Pritchard, who portrayed her on-screen sibling.

Reflecting on her past experience, Miffy shared her feelings about the film on her TikTok account, expressing unease when older men make comments about her appearance from her childhood role. She also mentioned her positive memories of working with Jude Law and the rest of the cast, describing them as “amazing” and “lovely.”

While Miffy revealed that she is no longer in touch with the cast members, she expressed interest in returning to acting if the opportunity arises. Despite concerns about her changed appearance due to tattoos and body modifications, she remains open to auditioning for roles that match her unique look.

Apart from The Holiday, Miffy also made appearances in TV shows like The Whistleblowers in 2007 and Casualty as Amelia Anderson from 2008 to 2012.
