“Anthony Joshua Gears Up to Face Jake Paul in Miami”

Anthony Joshua is fully committed to his upcoming match against Jake Paul and has already traveled to Miami to acclimate to the time zone. Joshua, a former two-time unified heavyweight champion, has been out of action since suffering a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024. Following a period of recovery from injury and elbow surgery, Joshua is now back in training and preparing to step back into the ring.

The announcement of Joshua facing Paul came as a surprise to many, with the showdown scheduled for December 19 in Miami, Florida. The bout is set for eight rounds, with both fighters wearing 10oz gloves. While Joshua is favored to win against the YouTuber-turned-boxer, he is approaching the fight with utmost seriousness, training as if he were competing for a world title.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s boxing promoter, has confirmed that Joshua is in excellent shape and fully focused on the upcoming lucrative match. The fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will be live-streamed on Netflix, accessible to fans through Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle, which is being promoted as the lowest price ever for Sky TV.

In preparation for the fight, Joshua has been instructed to weigh no more than 245lb for the bout against Paul. Hearn revealed that negotiations for the fight involved discussions about Joshua’s weight, with some misrepresentation on the numbers to ensure a competitive balance between the fighters.

The highly anticipated clash between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul is set to take place in Miami on December 19, just days before Christmas. The fight is expected to commence around 11pm local time, potentially translating to a 4am start for UK viewers. The event’s timing may vary depending on the undercard matches’ duration, with the entire event broadcast live on Netflix.
