“Son Charged with Mother’s Murder: Family Mourn Loss”

A mother known for her loving and kind heart tragically passed away, leaving her family grieving. Angela Shellis, aged 45, was discovered deceased in Prestatyn on October 24. Her son, Tristan Thomas Roberts, 18, from the same town, has been charged with her murder and appeared in court. A trial is set for the following year. Angela’s sister, Sarah Gunther, expressed the family’s devastation over the loss, highlighting Angela’s compassionate nature and the impact of her sudden death.

Sarah Gunther shared heartfelt words about Angela on a GoFundMe page created to assist with funeral expenses and a memorial. Any extra funds raised will be directed towards mental health and autism charities. The family aims to provide Angela with a fitting farewell, acknowledging any contribution, no matter how small, as significant. They also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers during this challenging period, vowing to keep Angela’s memory alive.

In response to Angela Shellis’ death, North Wales Police announced that an 18-year-old male, Tristan Thomas Roberts, has been charged with murder. The body of Angela Shellis was found in the Morfa area near Dawson Drive. Roberts was arrested at his residence and is scheduled to appear in court. The police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to aid the investigation.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Gibson emphasized the ongoing murder investigation and appealed for potential witnesses who were in the Morfa area during specific time frames. He stressed the importance of refraining from posting prejudicial content online that could impact court proceedings. Reports related to the incident can be submitted to authorities, quoting the incident reference number for assistance.
