“Hulk Hogan’s Son Sues Radio Host Over Intimate Video Use”

Nick Hogan, the son of the famous wrestler Hulk Hogan, has reportedly taken legal action against radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge Clem for using his late father’s intimate video in Clem’s new documentary titled Video Killed The Radio Star.

Nick Hogan, 35, and Terry McCoy, a close friend responsible for managing Hulk’s assets, filed a temporary restraining order against Clem, 59, at the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial District in Pinellas County, Florida, on September 2. This information was sourced from court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

In a previous incident in 2012, Hulk settled a disagreement with Clem, leading to the radio host transferring the rights to the explicit video to the former WWE star. Hulk then took steps to officially register the video with the U.S. copyright office to prevent any further dissemination, as reported by the Tampa Bay Times.

The video in question showcases the late WWE star engaging in intimate activities with Heather Cole, who was Clem’s ex-wife at the time, all captured by home security cameras.

According to the legal petition obtained by PEOPLE, Nick and McCoy claim that Clem’s use of the video in the documentary violated the Estate’s copyrighted material. The petition emphasizes that the Estate would suffer immediate and irreparable harm if Clem continued to infringe on the copyright by including any part of the video in the documentary.

The petition further explains that providing notice to Clem before issuing the temporary restraining order could result in irreparable harm to the Estate. The order was officially approved on September 4.

Hulk, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away at the age of 71 in July. A wrestling icon, he held six WWE Championships and featured prominently in the wrestling scene during the 1980s, facing off against renowned opponents like Andre the Giant and Randy Savage. In addition to his wrestling career, he also ventured into acting, appearing in various films and TV shows.

The WWE confirmed Hulk’s passing in a statement on Twitter, expressing their condolences to his family, friends, and fans. Hulk’s legacy includes headlining the inaugural Wrestlemania in 1985 and competing against The Rock and Randy Orton in later matches.

Ric Flair, a close friend and former professional wrestler, expressed his shock and sorrow over Hulk’s passing, highlighting Hulk’s athleticism, talent, friendship, and fatherly qualities. Hulk’s impact on professional wrestling was significant, with his charismatic persona and iconic physical attributes earning him the nickname “Hulkamania” and solidifying his status as a pop culture figure.
