Two individuals have been hospitalized, with one in critical condition, after a violent stabbing incident on Christmas Eve. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) responded to the scene in Bangor, deploying armed officers, as reported by the Belfast Telegraph.
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward following the distressing event that resulted in two individuals being hospitalized on Christmas Eve. A PSNI spokesperson stated, “Police are currently investigating a stabbing incident in the Chippendale Avenue area of Bangor on the evening of December 24th. Two individuals were transported to the hospital, one in critical condition.”
The spokesperson continued, “Investigations are ongoing, and individuals with information, including CCTV or other footage, are encouraged to contact the police at 101, quoting reference number 914 of 24/12/25. Reports or information can also be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport, or anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.” The Air ambulance was also reportedly present at the scene.
